We're here!

Made it to Florida. Weather is beautiful and, best of all, there's no snow! Lol. Seriously sunshine and warmth are not over-rated here.
Got in after an uneventful flight. We were starving so as soon as Kim's husband Collin picked us up, we headed to a fantastic seafood restaurant called " The Fish Monger". It's one of those where the menu is the fresh fish and shellfish that come in that very morning on the nearby pier. I had scallops, the largest and most tender I have ever eaten. They were in a garlic butter sauce. There were 7 in all but I was only able to eat 4. The rest are for breakfast or brunch tomorrow!
Tried stopping at the grocery store so we could pick up breakfast items but they had just closed. Luckily Collin and the girls had stopped at a roadside stand yesterday and picked up some fresh mango, banana, oranges, and peaches. I could get used to this!
The condo, located on Estero Island south of Fort Myers, is a high rise of condos whose owners rent them out to people who live in Antartica and need a break  :-)  We got in after dark but I am listening to the Gulf waters break against the shore as I sit in the condo writing this. I know the sunsets from our balcony on the third floor will be awesome. That's for tomorrow though. I have no pictures tonight as cameras were packed away for travel.
I hope you follow this through the week. We have a cruise to Caya Costa planned for Wednesday, maybe Naples Tuesday....but mostly beach time. See you tomorrow!
Off to Florida again. See you there soon!
